Esta investigación innovadora es el fruto de la interrelación de los diferentes proyectos que se desarrollan en el colegio José Félix Restrepo IED desde 2011, los cuales buscan orientar e integrar nuestro saber ancestral al aula, recurriendo a la presencia de algunos grupos indígenas invitados a la institución de las comunidades Muisca, Arawak, Misak, Huitoto y Ticuna, que no son vecinos de la ciudad. Desde el PRAE (Proyecto ambiental escolar), se planteó la actividad como forma de rescatar sus conocimientos en temas de ambiente, cultura, comunidad y territorialidad.
