El presente artículo es una propuesta pedagógica que intenta contribuir al estudio de las dificultades ambientales, a través de los conocimientos originados en la escuela por las ciencias naturales y sociales. Se trata de una iniciativa que invita a pensar el ambiente en su complejidad económica, histórica, social, cultural y científica, desde un espacio en el cual se podría reflexionar sobre los vínculos de la problemática ambiental y el sistema económico, al tiempo que en la posibilidad de modos de vida que aseguren la conservación del planeta.
