The study moment was cross-sectional with a descriptive correlational scope. It is concluded that the ICT Methodology is a tool that contributes to the improvement of environmental training with respect to other traditional didactic methods, allowing to achieve specific achievements in time in this segment of the population.

El presente artículo da cuenta de un estudio cuyo propósito fue el diseño de una metodología para fomentar la formación ambiental en estudiantes de básica secundaria, bajo los preceptos del desarrollo sostenible y mediante algunas herramientas TIC; para ello, se utilizó el diseño cuasiexperimental con grupo control pre-test y pos-test, empleando la prueba W de Wilcoxon para analizar datos. El momento de estudio fue transversal con alcance correlacional descriptivo. Se concluye que la Metodología con TIC es una herramienta que contribuye a la mejora de la formación ambiental respecto a otros métodos didácticos tradicionales, pues permite alcanzar logros puntuales en el tiempo para este segmento de la población.
