description This article aims to show the sociocultural attitude of university students during confinement by COVID-19 at the National University of the Center of Peru. It has a quantitative research approach, and the unit of analysis is the undergraduate students of the UNCP, where 292 questionnaires were applied using the Likert scale. Therefore, it is concluded that the sociocultural attitude of the university students of the UNCP shows an equitable distribution between negative and indifferent attitude towards the dangers of the pandemic and confinement.

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo mostrar la actitud sociocultural de los estudiantes universitarios sobre el confinamiento por el COVID-19 en la Universidad Nacional del Centro del Perú. Tiene un enfoque de investigación cuantitativa y la unidad de análisis son los estudiantes de pregrado de la UNCP, donde se aplicó 292 cuestionarios usando la escala de Likert. Concluyéndose que la actitud sociocultural de los estudiantes universitarios de la UNCP muestra una distribución equitativa entre actitud negativa e indiferente frente a los peligros de la pandemia y el confinamiento.
