Therefore, this experience is nourished by the conception of the school as a space for learning, strengthening and pedagogical transformation, in which history and memory converge, within the educational community as tools for the construction of multiple futures. “La UPZ La Flora: relatos de historias y memorias”, hace parte de una apuesta pedagógica mediante la cual se busca tejer la historia local de este territorio. Historia en la que, a través de las voces de los abuelos, padres de familia, estudiantes, líderes y lideresas sociales, el Colegio San Cayetano, IED, da cuenta de los caminos de lucha y esperanza que familias enteras labraron por la apropiación de este espacio y la dignificación de sus formas de vida. Por lo tanto, esta experiencia se nutre de la concepción de la escuela como un lugar de aprendizaje, fortalecimiento y transformación pedagógica, en el que historia y memoria confluyen dentro de la comunidad educativa, como herramientas para la construcción de múltiples futuros.
