description This article presents the results derived from a study aimed at the creation of a university Digital Writing Center that works under the virtual methodology. Specifically, it details the findings related to the design, theoretical bases, and experimentation of a set of digital educational content through which to offer tutoring for academic-scientific writing to undergraduate students. Its configuration is based on the conceptual advances reported by the specialized literature on graphic-visual design, digital technology, and academic tutoring. Through a descriptive study oriented from the postulates of the Formative Experiment Method and Educational Design, the pedagogical, graphic-visual, and technical factors required for its production are analyzed. The prototypes produced by an interdisciplinary team (pedagogy, communication, design, engineering) are grouped in self-review guides, video tutorials and development strategies in workshops; subsequently, subjected to pilot tests from the perspective of teachers and undergraduate students as potential users. The results show the connectivity, portability, and selectivity as key transversal attributes for the design of educational content; the convenience of juxtaposing the contents for tutorials, the accompanying didactic strategies for mediating learning and graphic-visual resources; finally, its empirical validation in training processes with virtual methodology. In conclusion, the confluence of an interdisciplinary approach to the design of educational content on digital platforms does not meet an ideal utopian condition but rather a real requirement that seeks to intentionally strengthen active learning processes.

Este artículo expone los resultados derivados de un estudio orientado a la creación de un Centro de Escritura Digital universitario que funcione bajo la metodología virtual. De manera específica, detalla los hallazgos relacionados con el diseño, fundamentación y experimentación de un conjunto de contenidos educativos digitales mediante los cuales ofrecer tutoría para la escritura académica a los estudiantes de pregrado. Su configuración tiene fundamento en los avances conceptuales reportados por la literatura especializada sobre el diseño gráfico-visual, la tecnología digital y la tutoría académica. Mediante un estudio de corte descriptivo orientado desde los postulados del Método Experimental Formativo y el Diseño Educativo, se analizan los factores pedagógicos, gráfico-visuales y técnicos requeridos para su producción. Los prototipos producidos por un equipo interdisciplinar (pedagogía, comunicación, diseño, ingeniería) son agrupados en guías de autorrevisión, video tutoriales y estrategias de desarrollo en talleres; posteriormente, sometidos a pruebas piloto desde la perspectiva de docentes y estudiantes de pregrado como potenciales usuarios. Los resultados evidencian la conectividad, la portabilidad y la selectividad como atributos transversales clave para el diseño de los contenidos educativos; la conveniencia de yuxtaponer los contenidos para las tutorías, las estrategias didácticas de acompañamiento para la mediación del aprendizaje y los recursos gráfico-visuales; finalmente, su validación empírica en procesos formativos con metodología virtual. En síntesis, la confluencia de un enfoque interdisciplinar para el diseño de contenidos educativos en plataformas digitales no atiende a una condición utópica ideal sino a un requerimiento real que busca fortalecer los procesos de aprendizaje activo de manera intencional.
