Summary:This article offers a personal reflection on what it means to be teachers today. From her own life story the author will expose how she has forged his teaching role and the tensions that she has lived between wantingto be and do in the different contexts where she has worked, and what motivates her to continue working in the consolidation of quality education. The central topic is the Education for All (EFA), from which the rights approach, the differential approach, the gender perspective and inclusion arises at various educational levels and especially in Early Childhood.
