Description
Summary:The immediate background of a teacher's innovation center should refer to the creation of teachers' houses that have been initiatives of the same guild in a large part of the Latin American countries. First of all, wewanted to review some of these experiences in order to trace aspects that allow us to find the common thing that configures a house of the teacher and that would give clues to think about the functioning of an innovation center. The second part of this article aims to make a theoretical reflection from the contributions provided by the empirical balance of documented experiences and literature that puts at the center of the discussion on education the teaching issue, the social image of the teacher, and the crisis of his authority. All with a view to enrich the discussion that may be taking place in academic settings, teacher training and thegroups of teachers in the city.
