Résumé:The following proposal is part of a pedagogical practice exercise carried out with the students that formed part of the Student Council of the Villas del Progreso IED College, in 2016, around the incidence of spaces for participation in the construction of citizenship and democratic culture. In line with what was stated, the research technique used was the focus group, and to stimulate the work a didactic unit was organized, due to the epistemological reflections raised in relation to it; in this case, the teacher-student interaction.
