description In this research article, we analyze the experiences of working black teachers in schools affected by armed violence in the peripheries of the city of Rio de Janeiro, from a methodological feminist perspective of situated knowledges. Through this point of view, we account for a school routine marked by shootings, marginalization and exposure to the death of school agents. In this context we appropriate the notion of "visceral pedagogy" to show how through care and emotional work, teachers configure spaces for survival, attention to emotional damage and the affirmation of life in the midst of a reality configured by logics of gender, race and class domination.

En este artículo de investigación analizo las experiencias de profesoras negras, trabajadoras en escuelas afectadas por la violencia armada en las periferias de la ciudad de Rio de Janeiro, a partir de una metodología feminista de los conocimientos situados. Desde este punto de vista, se da cuenta de una cotidianidad escolar marcada por tiroteos, marginación y exposición a la muerte de los agentes escolares. En dicho contexto apropiamos la noción de “pedagogía visceral” para evidenciar cómo por medio del cuidado y el trabajo emocional las docentes configuran espacios para la supervivencia, la atención de los daños emocionales y la afirmación de la vida en medio de una realidad configurada por lógicas de dominación de género, raza y clase.
