Summary:The present article have as purpose to reflect on the curricularization of citizen education in Colombia. It presents three moments: the first is a retrospective look, from the republican period, observing the government proposals. The second is a critique of his approach. The third moment is the contribution of the disciplinary didactics of the social sciences through different thoughts, for a contextualized and pertinent citizen training.
