En este manuscrito se describe e interpreta la metodología desarrollada en una experiencia de aula con el objetivo de fomentar la investigación con un grupo de estudiantes de quinto grado de primaria del Colegio Provinma (Bogotá, Colombia), quienes realizaron un proyecto durante todo el año escolar. Para ello, se registraron en un diario de campo los aspectos metodológicos de cada momento (antes, durante y después de cada sesión de clase), y en los resultados se mencionan las reflexiones suscitadas a medida que se desarrollaba el proceso en el aula. Este artículo es una invitación a que otros colegas e instituciones desarrollen espacios para fomentar la investigación desde la escuela. Por lo tanto, se anima a usar y reformular los recursos aquí presentados para el ejercicio educativo.
