In the case of students, it encourages their participation in hands-on projects, olympiads and astronomy-focused activities, developing meaningful skills in science and technology. El Semillero de Ciencia y Tecnología Moralba, en el colegio Moralba suroriental, ha mostrado ser un proyecto educativo influyente que busca, a partir de la estrategia STEM, fortalecer conceptos de ciencia, tecnología y matemáticas en estudiantes de primaria, bachillerato y educación media. En el ámbito tecnológico, resalta la importancia del proyecto RobótiKa Moralba y el centro de interés en Robótica, en el que ellos se involucran en equipos vinculados a olimpiadas STEM y programación con Arduino, lo cual les proporciona la oportunidad de aplicar conocimientos en la realización de proyectos concretos. En el ámbito científico, incorpora el club Antares y el centro de interés de Astronomía, ambos diseñados para realizar actividades teórico-prácticas relacionadas con la astronomía. Este enfoque contribuye al fortalecimiento de los conocimientos curriculares en Ciencias Naturales y Matemáticas, promoviendo la abstracción científica necesaria para una comprensión profunda de los temas en este campo. Estas actividades no solo estimulan la curiosidad y la pasión por la ciencia, sino que también crean un entorno educativo enriquecedor que integra aspectos tecnológicos y científicos.
