| Summary: | This writing contains the pedagogical experience of the Guardians of the Earth group: Building Love with the Territory. The project was developed between 2021 and 2023 with girls and boys from first to third grade at an educational institution in the town of Usme, in Bogotá, Colombia. The objective was to redefine the relationship that the students established with nature in their Territory, based on a Participatory Action Research methodology. It is for this reason that governance alternatives were collectively formulated, thus redefining the Territory based on the recognition of all forms of life, thereby allowing cohabitation. from coexistence, a view that in turn favored understanding the school as a community space that allows building a path towards peace. In conclusion, girls and boys create practices through learning environments to coexist with dignity, characterized by political training and a critical awareness regarding the environmental impacts that human beings have caused, because of an economic model that aims to put. above capital over life. |
