The ideas presented arise from the research on the accreditation processes of the higher normal schools of the country in this century and the challenges they face. This section of the study was based on discourse analysis from archaeological and genealogical traits.

El presente artículo de reflexión aborda los planteamientos sobre educación de distintos organismos internacionales (CEPAL, UNESCO, Banco Mundial, entre otros), para identificar los conceptos esenciales, regularidades y formaciones discursivas que se generan en el campo mundial sobre la formación de maestros y la educación, y su incidencia en las políticas públicas de los países latinoamericanos, entre ellos Colombia, durante los últimos decenios. Las ideas expuestas surgen de la investigación sobre los procesos de acreditación de las escuelas normales superiores del país en el presente siglo y los retos que enfrentan2. Este apartado del estudio se basó en el análisis del discurso desde rasgos arqueológicos y genealógicos.
