Summary:This article presents the results of a doctoral research about ancestral and traditional knowledge linked to pedagogical practice from an intercultural approach, in science teachers in initial training. The methodological approach is qualitative and integrates the collective case study, as technique to collect the information, a semi-structured collective interview was considered. The results show the strategies used by teachers in science classes, which raise the importance of considering the plurality of worldviews and the decolonization of knowledge in pedagogical practice.
