Yhteenveto:This article presents the process and results obtained in Palabras de Paz (Words of Peace) experience: A Participatory Design exercise that promotes peace education in school settings. A pedagogical innovation developed with ninth grade students at Antonio José Uribe IED District School and with the cooperation of Digital and Multimedia Design program of Universidad Colegio Mayor De Cundinamarca. Its initial objective was to develop thinking processes and critical reading from Peace related topics and historical memory through reading clubs where six of the graphic novels created as complementary material to the testimonial volume of the Truth Commission and the creation of a character whose function would be to act as a conflict mediator; all this through the implementation of a toolbox as a key element within Participatory Design processes. As a result, a character and a web prototype were designed where the experience and its products are recorded, at the same time, it transmits learning and conclusions obtained and, in the future, they will serve as input for the mediation of school conflicts.
