Summary:During 2018, interest arose in working on financial education with 5th grade students from a public institution in Bogotá. This article consolidates the classroom work, looking for pedagogical options to propose an alternative teaching of mathematics, working on financial concepts and putting them into practice, while raising problems, knowing the families, thinking about options to learn about finance (savings, budget, investment) and also thinking about the future (professional interests).
