Gaia:This research article, which arises within the development of the first author's doctoral thesis, presents the design and implementation of a didactic unit based on the Participatory Action Research methodological approach, to address the socio-environmental issue linked to the growing urbanization in the areas of some of the wetlands of Bogotá, with the purpose of advancing the eco citizen training of children, between 9 and 12 years old, from grade 5 of primary IED Tabora, located in the town of Engativá, in the Capital District.
